Who doesn’t love a good buffet?

One of the trade-offs of availing buffets is the price (Wallet cries during bill time!). This is why I was excited to know about the restaurant, 7 Flavors, located at the heart of San Juan.
The restaurant is backed by the kitchen know-how of the acclaimed Chef Boy Logro.

The restaurant’s interior is casual and unintimidating, still it has a classy feel to it. They also offer small function rooms perfect of small meetings and gatherings.

7 Flavors offers both a la carte and buffet options. In my case, I decided to go for the buffet. While the restaurant’s buffet is pretty compact, I was satisfied after I ate because of the quality of the food. My wish is that the buffet gains variety as the restaurant grows. How nice that would be!

Here are my top 7 finds from the 7 Flavors buffet.

1.Salmon Sashimi

I loved how their salmon sashimi smelled and tasted, it’s as if it has just been fished out of the see and sliced right there and then.

They also offered other variants of sashimi. Yum! ❤

2.Napoleon Vegetable

Imagine your favorite lasagna cheese sauce mixed with vegetables. Good, right? I had two servings of this one.

3.Roast Beef

I always go for this one in any buffet! 🙂 The roast beef was tender enough without having too much fat. I would have liked it to be warmer, because steak (or food in general) is always better when warm.

4.Chicken Asparagus

The chicken asparagus was cooked well to make it juicy and tender.

5. Red Velvet Cake

I love how compact and moist their cake is.

6. Vanilla Cupcake

It isn’t too sweet, which is a must for me when it comes to dessert.

7. Yema Cake

Who doesn’t love yema?

To keep things exciting, 7 Flavors buffet offers different sets of dishes for a specific week, but there are regular dishes you can expect if ever you decide to pay them a visit.
Here are some of them.

  • Beef Kare Kare, Spicy Salmon Head, Asparagus Chicken, Meat Balls, and Napoleon Vegetable.

While the buffet of the restaurant isn’t perfect (I really wish the food were warmer), eating there is very worth it for the price. Again, I suggest that they add more variety on the food that they serve, and maybe be a little more creativity in terms of presentation.

The restaurant also provides good service and has a friendly staff.
